Excellent job, Tom. These are all myths, as you point out; the only mystery is why some folks are trying to sell the U.S. system down the river, especially the Big Four. Piggybacking off Churchill's comments about democracy, US GAAP has lots of faults, but it is better for the US investment community than anything else out there.

Your post blog was just introduced to me by my classmate. it is quite interesting to read them. But don't you think that the benefits far outweigh the costs. I am also wondering the place for developing Countries like, Nigeria.
